Labyrinth - Symbolism

Updated: Oct 10, 2020

⁣A labyrinth is an ancient symbol that relates to wholeness and has been used as a tool for mediation for thousands of years.

The Labyrinth is a metaphor for our spiritual path as well as a symbol that takes us from our headspace back into our heartspace.⁣

The imagery of the Labyrinth is a circle filled with a spiral. These twist and turns represents the experiences in our life and by following our true individual path we can be guided back to our deepest center. ⁣

Labyrinths are not the same as mazes. Mazes need to be figured out and have more than one way of solving. The Labyrinth has only way out and that is following your higher self. It requires you to look within, using your intuition and creativity rather than trying to figure things out in a logical and analytical sense. ⁣

Sometimes there are things in life that we may not be able to wrap our heads around. We may not quite understand what is happening and why. In these moments, it's important to remember the path and that it is a journey. And within this journey, sometimes the only way out is to go within. ⁣

“The only way out of the labyrinth of suffering is to forgive.”⁣
